Halloween

I know, I know. Halloween was LAST week, and I'm just now getting my post up. But I've been busy, and there were festivities and parties, so this got pushed back a little. The good news is that it's done, the bad news is I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'd love feedback on it, seriously. I tried for something more dramatic and moody, instead of a generic broadly lit scene. Now that this is done-ish, I'll start working on Tristan and his story. And you think I was joking, but I want feedback!!!

Please?

I really love the texture, especially at the bottom. It totally works with the feel of the piece...i think maybe what you feel is off is the intensity of the lighting...like maybe its a spotlight instead of moonlight. that the only thing I can see. i really love the way it turned out!

I love it! I think it turned out awesome. I think what feels a little off for me is you lose the cat a little; it's so dark and it blends into the background so it leaves this area in the middle that your eyes aren't going to. Maybe some reflective light on the cat would help it stand out a little? Not sure. But that's my two cents. I like it a lot though, your rendering is awesome! :)

Hey Matt! I think it's a really cool piece. I like the dramatic perspective. I do agree with Maria that you do kind of lose the cat with the background. Overall though I really like the mood of the piece and the texture you applied to give it that fog effect. Nice job.
